As humans, we crave connection and want to feel like we belong – which is precisely why I founded Belong:In; to change behaviours. I wanted to ensure the recipients of Equality Diversity & Inclusion training didn’t simply learn something; they also felt something that they'd remember long after the fact. That feeling, is the real driver for behaviour change; or at the very least, the driver for true understanding; and that’s a great place to start!
I’m a firm believer that you can truly affect real engagement and culture change within an organisation through highlighting the lived experience of employees and providing the tools so that everybody feels able to contribute towards inclusion. And at Belong:In we live by that.
Inclusion goes all ways. And while our offerings give minorities a voice, they’re about creating a respectful and safe space for everyone to reflect on and value their own journeys; explore topics and ask questions they don’t feel they have been able to.
Combining my knowledge of Equality Diversity & Inclusion with my experiences of workplace culture, I've been able to break down invisible barriers and open the door for conversations that have never been had before.
Supporting organisations ranging from large financial services firms to charities, public sector and not-for-profit organisations it’s clear that the key organisational challenges faced by one, are faced by many. As such Belong:in was born and has now expanded from simply myself to a team of carefully selected consultants bringing a wealth of experience in the areas that make a big difference to your workplace culture: people management, the employee experience, employee engagement, learning and development and wellness and resilience.
